12,524 PointsIt is listed on the Unit Testing home page, sometimes when you click the course it takes you to the first video and skips the overview page where this is listed as the recommended learning course beforehand: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/local-development-environments

11,710 PointsThis link is the pre-requ for this course. Hint: it takes you to another course.

2,365 PointsIt explicitly says to take this prerequisite course first, on the page. Maybe this was previously missing based on the comments. https://teamtreehouse.com/library/local-development-environments

7,926 PointsIn the video he says ' I am going to assume that YOU as a JAVA DEVELOPER know what I am talking about.' While it is wrong for him to assume we should know what he is talking about in the first 30 seconds of the first video, and it would be nice for him to suggest a prerequisites. It is safe to say you should know Java before starting this track. WHAT I WOULD SUGGEST. The prerequisite I would suggest is the 'Learn Java' track. hope that helps

11,259 Pointsas far as I know, prereqs are showed if you haven't completed them before. If you did, the website does not show them to you :)

Courses Plus Student 44,614 PointsUnfortunately, there is no pre-requisites listed in Treehouse. If you heard the teachers said that, they means that you should take the pre-requisites course before watching the current video that you're on and they always provided those course in the teacher's note. So make sure you check the teacher's note before you start any videos. My best advise is follow the track of the language that you wanna learn, which is Java you said. That way, you will never go wrong. I hope that help.
