Where am I making a mistake?

Can't seem to understand why I am doing this wrong.

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(sundaes)
display_menu = sundaes.join(", ")
menu.format(display_menu)

1 Answer

The proper syntax for join is

", ".join(sundaes)

Also, you want to assign the formatted string to menu, so you need

menu =

in front of the last line. The format after the string in the third line should be deleted.

Thank you. Didn't realize I have things a bit backwards.
