1,458 PointsHi Sara,
It looks like you have the right idea, but you're going further than the challenge asks you to go, so you have some extra HTML that is counted against you.
1) The challenge asks you to keep the alt
attributes blank. I just left the out entirely and the challenge was happy with my response. So you can delete all of the alt=""
parts of your list element code.
2) You're adding extra <a> anchor elements, which the challenge doesn't ask you do to. It could be a great feature, because it lets people click on the pictures to go to a new page with just the picture. But the challenge doesn't ask for that, so it will count that feature against you. So remove the lines which include <a href...> and </a>.
I hope this explanation helps. Otherwise, ask me more questions or see if someone else responds.

1,249 PointsHi again,
i tried that, and it still asks me to include an image tag that displays the img/numbers-01.jpg?

1,458 PointsCan you reply with the full HTML code of your submission? Maybe just include the file like you did with your initial question. It'd be really helpful to me and other potential answerers to see how your code has changed since you first asked.
