2,675 PointsWhen is it time to initiate your first project with the information you have gained so far?
Right now I am about halfway through with the Web Design track which is my first track btw. I think that I have gained quite a bit of knowledge but when I see the community post about their first projects or sites I get a bit initimidated by the pure awesomness of what you guys are able to create. I know that I can't do the things you do with knowledge and skills I have gained so far but it would help if i knew when to start my own project instead of just watching tutuorials and taking on code challenges.
So what would you guys suggest I do? Should I complete a full track before initiating a project? Should I start with it now with the knowledge I have gained so far and develop it further down the road?
Also I would really like to hear/read about your first project, especially when it was that you have started it. How many tracks have you completed before starting? How long did it took? etc.
Thanks in advance guys.

4,182 PointsHi Ata, I would recommend start practice your knowledge by building your first project along the way. It doesn't have to be perfect. I start mine with my home page (not even half way through the track yet) it was just to get the idea of what writing code for real looks like. And I'm using Atom to practice and sometimes I get stuck but then I knew what's the problem and try to solve it and search for more or go back to some videos. Hope this helps! :)
