Hey there,

could you please share your code with us? :) No root element indicates that the html tag is missing but without seeing the code it's difficult to see where the problem might be.

To post your code to the forums wrap your code with 3 backticks (```) on the line before and after. If you specify the language after the first set of backticks, that'll help us with syntax highlighting.
Example:

```css
#body { color: black; }
```

Will look like:

#body {color: black;}
<!doctype html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
  <meta charset="utf-8">
  <title>Le Var Range's Profile</title>
  <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
  <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
  <link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Muli%7CRoboto:400,300,500,700,900" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>

    <div class="main-nav">
        <ul class="nav">
          <li class="name">Le Var Range</li>

          <li><a href="https://teamtreehouse.com/levarrange">Experience</a></li>
        </ul>
    </div>

    <header>

      <h1 class="tag name">varlerang</h1>
      <p class="tag location">New York City</p>
    </header>

I looked over it and did not see any issues and I am not sure where you validated your HTML but when I pasted it into the W3C Markup Validation Service there was nothing wrong with it at all.

Hope this helps! -Shawn

I believe when I tried this in Safari I received the same error, but, if you try it in Chrome, it will not give you those same errors.
