boolean statement...
var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = false;
if ( isAdmin ) {
alert('Welcome administrator')
} else if (isStudent) {
alert('Welcome student')
} else (false) {
alert('Who are you?')
}

19,201 PointsAs Ion said you need your semi colons after the alert, but there is also no need to pass in any parameters for the else condition.
var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = false;
if ( isAdmin ) {
alert('Welcome administrator');
}else if (isStudent) {
alert('Welcome student');
}else{
alert('Who are you?');
}
You want your else statement to run if neither of your first two conditions are met.
