7,148 PointsI just tested your code and it works fine? I can't find anything wrong with it. What happens for you?

7,148 PointsI'm not sure. You are technically correct. Perhaps try echo-ing out each switch.
<?php
//Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber
if (!isset($role)) {
$role = 'admin';
}
//change to switch statement
switch ($role) {
case 'admin':
echo "As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.";
break;
default:
echo "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.";
break;
}
