17,062 Pointsfor a brief look it looks like your code should pass, itβs doing what they asked, which error u get?, i think your not passing because they didnβt asked to create an array of chars but your logic seems fine.. this is my code and it passed:
public int getCountOfLetter(char letter){
int count =0;
for(char tile : tiles.toCharArray()) {
if(letter == tile) {
count++;
}
}
return count;
}
i changed tiles to be an array of char in the loop and i iterate each of the event. , then i checked for equality and counted if there is a match.

620 PointsThank you for taking the time to help me out! (The error was: "Bummer: Please use an enhanced for loop to cycle through each of the tiles found in tiles.toCharArray")
