compiler error : csr might not have been initialised. But if queue is not empty is false, then poll show should return a CustomerSupportRep Object, which i'm assigning to csr.
Please, help me out in this one.
import java.util.ArrayDeque;
import java.util.Queue;
public class CallCenter {
Queue<CustomerSupportRep> mSupportReps;
public CallCenter(Queue<CustomerSupportRep> queue) {
mSupportReps = queue;
}
public void acceptCustomer(Customer customer) {
CustomerSupportRep csr;
/********************************************
* TODO (1)
* Wait until there is an available rep in the queue.
* While there is not one available, playHoldMusic
* HINT: That while assignmentcheck loop syntax we used to
* read files seems pretty similar
********************************************
*/
if(mSupportReps.isEmpty()){
playHoldMusic();
}
else
{csr=mSupportReps.poll();}
csr.assist(customer);
mSupportReps.add(csr);
/********************************************
* TODO (2)
* After we have assigned the rep, call the
* assist method and pass in the customer
********************************************
*/
/********************************************
* TODO (3)
* Since the customer support rep is done with

}
public static void playHoldMusic() {
System.out.println("Smooooooth Operator.....");
}
}
import java.util.List;

}
public void assist(Customer customer) {

System.out.println("Is there anything else I can help you with?");

5,787 PointsFirstly you're missing a loop. As stated in TODO (1) HINT: That while assignmentcheck loop syntax we used to read files seems pretty similar
. You need to Poll for a rep if one is not present play hold music and then start that over polling again until one is present then you need to finish the process.
