right now this is my code, "String ageAsString = console.readline("how old are you? ");
int age = Integer.parseInt(ageAsString);
if ( age < 13) {
console.printf("sorry you must be at least 13 to use this code. \n" );
System.exit(0);
}
and I keep getting this error message,
"Picked up JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS: -Xmx128m
Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx128m
TreeStory.java:13: error: incompatible types: String cannot be converted to boolean
String ageAsString = console.readline("how old are you? ");

Treehouse TeacherHi there, Kaden Currier! It looks like the problem is that you have a small typo. It's literally off by a single letter.
You typed this:
String ageAsString = console.readline("how old are you? ");
But you meant to type:
// Note readLine as opposed to readline
String ageAsString = console.readLine("how old are you? ");
There is a capitalization error on the readLine method. Make sure the "L" is capitalized.
