Courses Plus Student 215 PointsWhats Wrong?
I can not get a preview before I submit. What am I doing wrong?
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readLine("Michael");
String lastName = console.readLine("Noble");
console.printf("%s", firstName);

41,120 PointsYou need to include "First name: " in your output, as well as the actual variable. Put this inside your quotes before the %s and it should pass.

Courses Plus Student 215 PointsSo I have to add another line before I can move forward?
Stuart Wright
41,120 PointsNo not a new line, just edit the existing one:
console.printf("First name: %s", firstName);

28,694 Pointsthe variable passed to readLine is the prompt text. so the firstline should probably be:
String firstName = console.readLine("Enter First Name:");
Apart from this, Stuart Wright is correct.
