So as a starting company what should I do in the first place? Trademark? Chamber of commerce? Patent?
We have a unique name, so we don't want the name to be stolen and see other versions of my website with the same name. What should I do to get those things right?

1,428 PointsIf I were you the first thing I'd do is trademark the company's name. And as for someone not copying your idea it's kind of hard because you can't copyright and "idea" only an invention or an improvement to something already made and the best thing you can hope for is to get a business process patent, which is expensive and legally dicey.
