What seems to be the problem with this code?

It's a very straightforward challenge however I don't have the slightest idea of what is going wrong with my code. Is there a problem in my if statement? Or does it have something to do with the for loop?

breaks.py 
def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        print(item)
        if item == "STOP":
            break

    # Code goes here

You are very close :)

However, it appears that you are printing the items before checking for "STOP". The challenge seems to want all items printed that are not equal to "STOP". If "STOP" is encountered, the for loop should break without printing anything.

Take a look at your if statement and consider using an else clause.
