Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 33,271 Points111 in binary is 4+2+1 = 7. the positions are powers of 2 so they are all even numbers. 101 is 5 = 4+1, 1001 is 9=8+1, 1100 is 12 = 8+4, etc. well except 2^0 of course, anything ^0 is 1.
