what may be the correct code?

I could not write the correct code

trial.py 
def add(num1,num2) :
    try:
        a=int(int(num1)+int(num2))
        except ValueError
        return none
         else
            return float(num1)+float(num2)

Just a couple indentation and punctuation errors. Try this:

def add(num1,num2) :
    try:
        a=int(int(num1)+int(num2))
    except ValueError:
        return none
    return float(num1)+float(num2)
