4,013 PointsWhat is wrong with my getTileCount methid? I am not able to see exact error in preview..
My code looks ok. There is some compilation error I can see in preview..
public class ScrabblePlayer {
private String mHand;
public ScrabblePlayer() {
mHand = "";
}
public String getHand() {
return mHand;
}
public void addTile(char tile) {
// Adds the tile to the hand of the player
mHand += tile;
}
public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
return mHand.indexOf(tile) > -1;
}
public int getTileCount(char tile) {
int counter;
for (char letter: mHand.toCharArray())
{
if (tile == letter)
{
counter++;
}
}
return counter;
}
}

71,830 PointsVery close! If you click the Preview button you will see the following compile error:
./ScrabblePlayer.java:27: error: variable counter might not have been initialized
counter++;
Which suggests that you initialize your counter variable when you declare it:
int counter = 0;
