JavaScript Object-Oriented JavaScript Object Basics Filling Out the Play Method

What is wrong with my code or understanding?

The problem asks me to write an empty if statement in the method that checks if its the players turn using dot notation.

specifically here.
play: function(){ if (player1.isTurn==true){} } }

object.js
const player1 = {
    name: 'Ashley',
    color: 'purple',
    isTurn: true,
    play: function(){
      if (player1.isTurn==true){}
    }
}

Almost there...you need to replace player1 with "this" keyword. Also, there's no need to include === true. By default your if statement will check if "this.isTurn" equals true.

const player1 = {
    name: 'Ashley',
    color: 'purple',
    isTurn: true,
    play: function(){
      if (this.isTurn) {
       }
    }
}
