What is wrong with my code?

It says that the anchor tag's text content has not been set.

app.js
const inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName').value;
Element.TextContent = inputValue

    </head>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
    <body>
        <div id="content">
            <label>Link Name:</label>
            <input type="text" id="linkName">
            <a id="link" href="https://teamtreehouse.com"></a>

I see two issues:

  • you haven't defined anything named "Element"
  • "TextContent" should be "textContent" (with lower-case "t")

Where "Element" is you might want to use a selector function like the one used for task 1, but referencing the anchor element instead of the input.

almost right you forgot too call a element there you have to set the text content = to input.value
