what is the style tag

it told me don't forget your style tag? i thought i did put the style tag

Style tag should be inside head or body tag. Try it like 

  <body>
 <style></style>
      <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
 </body>

<head>
 <style></style>
 </head>
<body>
 <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>

</body>

Hi,

it looks to me as if you did add the style tag. However, be sure to add it inside the body, as the exercise is asking you to add it above the h1 tag.
