Can anyone tell me?

Pseudo-Class - Dynamic selectors that change based on user interaction with the browser, such as hovering over a link, for example.
In particular in this video they are using the visited pseudo-class and removing the default styling from it.

9,264 PointsIt depends on which pseudo class is being used, but generally they let you get more specific (like the :first-child psuedo class) and/or dynamic (like the :hover psuedo class) with your CSS. http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/selector.html#pseudo-class-selectors
