what is the difference between information technology engineering and computer science engineering

i need help to figure out my major in college im highly confused between ITE and CSE so please help me out

The distinction can be subtle.

You might have to examine particular curricula to be certain, or more specific, but generally Computer Science would focus more on the development of software and possibly hardware systems, and Information Technology would be more about applying available systems to particular purposes.
