Treehouse TeacherHi there! I'd suggest checking out this new Treehouse show that covers quite a bit about this topic. Take a look also at the Teacher's notes to find some really great advice on this.
Hope you find some inspiration in this!

5,681 PointsI like hand writing in notebooks for notes and I also have a huge dry eraser board I like working with. I find it helps me a lot. I like having non screen time learning as well. It helps me balance to much screen time. Also as Jennifer says. TeamTreehouse teachers notes provide great stuff to look at.
The show looks pretty cool I gotta check it out.

18,633 Pointsyou have to figure out which way works best for you. There are visual, audio, and kinesthetic learning styles and treehouse does a good job at covering each of those with the videos, audio, and code challenges to actually do what you just learned.
I'm more kinesthetic and visual I need to see how something is done then I can do it. Then I need to keep doing it to really learn how to do something and it takes a lot of practice for it to stick.
