3,016 PointsWhat is the benefit of "Adobe Illustrator for Web Design" for someone who is learning front end web development?
So I was checking out a course here on treehouse called Adobe Illustrator for Web Design, and it seemed very intriguing, how could something like this benefit a web develper? Now obviously one of the benefits is that illustrator is a great tool for web page mock-ups, but I also saw this feature that it had called css properties? What does that mean? You don't have to write any css for your html? Just use the css properties from your mock-up and paste it into your css file? I like writing css but I'm just confused on illustrator css properties.

9,244 PointsThis would be replaced with Adobe XD, if you want to stay in the Adobe family.
Personal experience, you should take a look into Figma. You can code CSS, collaborate in real time (I mean like co-op in real time, it's awesome!!) and can be used for free.
Also, a popular variant would be Sketch.

3,016 PointsAwesome!! Thanks! Btw is figma only for mobile viewport prototyping? Because all the samples and videos that I've seen about figma seems like it's only for mobile web pages.

9,244 PointsIt's awesome for mobile prototyping, but it serves to any interface design with high reusability of components and quick exports.
I've collaborated with designers working on Figma on a couple desktop to mobile responsive designs.
