What is that enigmatic orb to the right of Craig's shoulder?

Something out-of-this-world appears at the 7 second mark to the right of Craig's right shoulder and floats around for a few seconds. Is this a common occurrence that I must prepare for when coding my own Java? Thank you for your help.
