i'm looking into being a freelancer, but i'm having trouble finding out this information through google, all the finer points seem to be eluding me.

54,974 PointsIf this index has any meaning Python has moved up from August of last year to rank #3 in August of this year for popularity. Python job boards should answer your questions on what it is used for and how in demand it is currently.

4,552 PointsRe-frame your logic; look at job boards for Python programmers; read the job description proper and cull the company's "stack". Treehouse has the learning you need to grab one of those jobs. good luck btw - (Python is in mad demand because the way it handles data science work. )
