am programming a game on unity "Frogs'n'Logs". MVS (Microsoft Visual Studio) came up with the error:
Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State
Error UnityException: Tag: player is not defined. Solution 'Frogs and Logs' (3 projects) Assets/Scripts/FlyPickup.cs 9
My code:
using UnityEngine;
public class FlyPickup : MonoBehaviour
{
void OnTriggerEnter(Collider other)
{
// if the collider "Other" is tagged with player...
if (other.CompareTag("player"))
{
Destroy(gameObject);
}
}
}
Thank you!

Treehouse TeacherI agree with Steven Parker. While the code inside the Game Development track is done in C#, this particular question references material specifically associated with the Game Development track. As such, I'm going to move your question over to the correct category, which will hopefully facilitate in getting a speedier answer!

Treehouse TeacherHi there, Angus Eliott! I believe you have simply made a typo. It's saying that the "player" tag is undefined, because it is undefined. There is, however, a "Player" tag. Remember, capitalization matters. Just about everything is case-sensitive. Try correcting the lower case p to an upper case P and see if it works!
Hope this helps!
