5,333 PointsWhat is happening "under the hood" when you Launch Console?
I am super curious to learn what was happening during all of the "Turning the lights on...", "Waxing the modem...", "Chasing bumblebees..." steps. Can you please help me understand how we pulled up a Linux console through my Chrome Browser on OSX?

4,081 PointsI am not 100% sure, but I believe they set up a virtual machine on one of their servers and give us remote access to it. I think it is the exact same thing as accessing a remote desktop when your in college or the workplace, but in this case instead of a graphical UI it's the terminal.
And I think it just takes time for their server to set up the virtual machine that you will use.
