I don't know why this is not compiling I have tried but it is not even compiling
func duplicate<T>(_ item: T, numberOfTimes: Int) -> [T] {
}
This is how I think it is but I don't know why it is not compiling
func duplicate<T>(_ item: T, _ numberOfTimes: Int) -> [ T ] {
}

6,851 PointsGoing by the code you've given, this won't compile.
The reason is that you declared your function to return a [T]
.
But, your function body is empty AKA no return statement. So you've gone against your declaration.
In your function body just put
return [item]
That should help you temporarily compile it.
