Does anyone know a safe way to test powershell scripts other than creating a virtual machine using parallels?

But seriously, I think you have the right idea in using a VM if you want to actually test it verbatim.
Sometimes I test scripts by echoing any "risky" commands instead of executing them. But I admit that's not a completely accurate test.
