239 PointsWhat is a Header tag
I have <header></header> in the stanza but it request that I not forget a header tag. I'm bit confused as to what this is
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>Jewell | Designer</title>
<meta charset='utf-8"/>
</head>
<body>
<header></header>
<section></section>
<footer></footer>
</body>
</html>

Courses Plus Student 11,711 PointsThe header tag is used as a container for navigation elements. So for example if you have a website with a menu across the top bar the contents of this would be stored within the nav element and this would be stored within the header element. You do not necessarily need it, but it is good for clarity I think.

27,930 PointsHi :)
It seems you have a couple little errors in there that could be causing the problem.
- The meta tag in the head element should always come before the title tag.
- inside the meta tag there is an error on the quotation marks surrounding the charset.
Below is a copy of the code that will complete the challenge for your to refer to :)
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8"/>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
<header></header>
<section></section>
<footer></footer>
</body>
</html>
Hope this helps Craig
