Hi there,

I'm not sure why but the compiler is not liking your inverted commas. It isn't interpreting them as normal " characters, for some reason. They seem to be stylised characters so perhaps use a standard version? What keyboard settings have you got set?

Your code is:

  console.printf(β€œYour table is ready”);

which doesn't work but this:

  console.printf("Your table is ready");

works fine. Very strange!

Steve.

These are the marks you're using. On a Mac I type Shift+Opt [ to produce ” rather than a standard double inverted comma like ".
