I know absolutely nothing about coding. I just signed up for TreeHouse and am wondering what other equipment do I need other than this laptop I am currently using. Thanks

1,816 PointsIf you do like working on a text editor other than what's available in the workspace, you could always download Sublime Text, it's free, but it does prompt you to donate every few times you save a document though. But Sublime Text which is my favorite text editor it has a lot of helpful features that some text editors don't have.

42,016 Pointsthats all you need. that and an internet connection. obviously you are probably going to need to download software such as a text editor along the way (although Treehouse has workspaces which lets you a lot in the browser), but you wont need any external equipment aside from your laptop
