Treehouse StaffThanks for your interest in our Techdegree program!
The Treehouse Techdegree is a rigorous project-based program that challenges you to build real-world projects. These projects are completely unique to the Techdegree itself and become more challenging as you go along.
The Techdegree includes a learning path full of Treehouse's high-quality video courses. In addition, and while the videos within the Techdegree are the same as what is available to our Basic and Pro subscribing students, Techdegree students get access to the following Techdegree-only features:
-Depending on which Techdegree you choose, 5-10 real-world projects to build on your own. These projects start with simple projects and lead to complete applications. These projects will be excellent additions to your portfolio and will be great demonstrations of your programming skills.
-Projects reviewed and graded by your peers. They'll look over your project, make sure your project meets the grading requirements and provide feedback on your project and programming code.
-Private Slack channels. Techdegree students get access to private discussion channels using the instant-messaging app Slack. You can talk to other students in the program in real-time: share resources, discuss the projects, and even have other students and staff look over your projects and give you feedback before you submit them for grading.
-Final exam. As the final step in proving to yourself and others that you are ready to become an entry-level developer, the Techdegree includes a timed final exam. This is a 2-hour test to make sure you've learned the concepts, technologies, and techniques you'll need on the job. Don't worry, you can take the exam until you pass, and when you do, you'll know you're ready.
-Certificate of achievement. Once you complete all the projects and pass the final exam, you'll receive your Techdegree certificate.
I hope this information helps!
