Alter the event handler on line 4 to run when the form is submitted, not just when the submit button has been clicked. Leave the callback function empty for now.
const form = document.querySelector('form');
const submitButton = form.querySelector('[type=Submit]');
submitButton.addEventListener('click', (e) => {
e.preventDefault();
});

<script src="app.js"></script>

231,269 PointsTo start with, the event listener is attached to the button, and waiting for a "click" event.
The challenge wants "the event handler on line 4 to run when the form is submitted, not just when the submit button has been clicked".
So to make that happen, attach the listener to the form instead of the button, and wait on the "submit" event.
Oddly, it looks like you've already added the code for task 2. How did you get there without passing task 1 first?
