681 PointsWhat does "passing in a 1" mean? i am absolutely unfamiliar to this therm, how should i call this method?
I do not understand what he means by "passing in a 1", which makes it impossible to complete the task...
class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String color;
private int barCount;
private int lapsDriven;
public GoKart(String color) {
this.color = color;
}
public String getColor() {
return color;
}
public void charge() {
barCount = MAX_BARS;
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return barCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return MAX_BARS == barCount;
}
public void drive(int lapsRollin) {
lapsDriven += lapsRollin;
barCount -= lapsRollin;
}
public void drive() {
lapsDriven++;
barCount--;
}
}

231,184 PointsWhen they say "passing in" they mean "supplying as the argument".
So if you are "passing in a 1" then when you invoke the function, you would have a 1 in parentheses following the function name.
