It's asking you to set the character set for the page, which is done like this in the

```html
<meta charset="utf-8">

Truth be told, I always set it to this, as it's standard. I can't tell you why you would ever set the character set to anything else, but I bet if you could explain why you would also know when to use something different. I should know more about this, I just don't.
