Good work on going above and beyond with the <a></a> link tags around the images!

Image tag is simply <img src=""/> It looks like you have forgotten to close your image tags at the end with the /> They are self closing tags; this is a very easy thing to forget so no worries.

<section>
  <ul>
    <li> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg"/> </li>
    <li> <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg"/> </li>
    <li> <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg"/> </li>
  </ul>
</section>

This code worked for me. Hopefully this helps!

Yes, it works, but nowadays it's not necessary to close the self-closing tags, so you could simply leave it like this:

<img src = "img/numbers-01.jpg" alt = "">

This for example:

<img src="img/numbers-01.jpg"alt="">

The tag itself is <img> and it has attributes src and alt.

My error seems to be in the img numbers-01 but I can't figure out where's the error.

I took a look at the objective and they actually do not need links so you should remove the opening and closing "a" tags.

Very strange, tried all these suggestions and nothing worked.

Still getting the same error message: Make sure you include an image tag that displays "img/numbers-01.jpg"

<section>
      <ul>
        <li>
          <img src = "img/numbers-01.jpg" alt = "">
        </li>
        <li>
          <img src = "img/numbers-02.jpg" alt = "">
        </li>
        <li>
          <img src = "img/numbers-06.jpg" alt = "">
        </li>
      </ul>
    </section>

This worked for me. You might try it and see.
