2,392 PointsYou have to add quotes around the semicolon as it is the part of the string. it should be like this: suundaes= "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" .split (';')
In this the semicolon or any other character is a part of the string you're splitting. Thus it is necessary to add quotes around it.
