What are the most recommended text editors to buy/get besides workspaces?

I don't always have internet so I would like to know what experienced developers recommend.

Sublime Text 3 OR vim, these two are the usual recommendations.

But I recently found that Github's Atom to be pretty damn good; Also, Adobe's Brackets is an awesome newcomer too, it comes with live preview plus many features for designer, which is super useful for frontend.

How about Graphics and Design application? Many use Photoshop but I don't thinks I'm there yet in terms of using a such a powerful tool nor I'm familiar with it, is there any other beginner software? I'm looking at Affinity Designer right now.

Yeah, when you think of front-end web design, Photoshop & Illustrator are pretty much the only game in town for professionals, but they're extremely complicated with steep learning curve, and they're very expensive too. Over the past few months, I've been using Sketch to do page layout & mobile app interface design, (well, I'm primarily a developer with little design skills), Sketch is great! Very easy to learn, and it's like bringing some of the most useful features of Photoshop & Illustrator together in one package for a fraction of the cost.

Thank you so much for your advice! I appreciate it.

hello , I would suggest Sublime-text 3

or

    phpstorm

i hope this will help

Hi Russ, I would suggest to try a couple different text editors and see which one is more comfortable to work with. I personally use Sublime Text 2. Also, I tried Brackets.

Hope it will help.

Learn VIM and get developer cool points.

Thank you everyone for their input. You're the best.
