What am I missing of this task?

I didn't understand the question. What am I missing?

IO.java 
// I have imported java.io.Console for you.  It is a variable called console.
String firstName = console.readLine("What is your name?");
String lastName = console.readLine();
console.printf(firstName);

console.readLine() I believe should be used to read input that a user enters. console.writeLine() would be used to write something like "What is your name?"
