honestly that works perfectly in a python emulator. It's probably just the way the challenge is programmed that it is giving you issues. Either move the .format() up to the subject variable or get rid of the curly braces and do some string concatenation on the print statement.

ravi parekh for future reference; there is no need to start another post if you are having issues with the same question. Although you are getting closer you still need to review the syntax for the .format method. There is also no need to use print.

name = "Ravi"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name);
