I do not know what I'm doing wrong. Please help.

array[1] = "Magenta";

You have the right idea overall and the correct index values but you have to use the variable name of the array when accessing by index value.
So where you have arrray[1]
you would want to use $colors[1]
instead. And the same thing for the other one.
