hello, I have been working on my websites seo but when I search it on google it is only on page 7 and instead of the websites description it says 'A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt'
Can anybody advise why this is. thanks

You didn't provide any of the important details ... No domain, no search terms, no mentions on page SEO that you've performed.
I'd recommend you start with the beginner's guide to SEO
