Hi Steve,

Make sure you are using the "link" tag to properly link between your CSS and HTML. Remember when you code everything is case sensitive.

Can you please post you HTML and CSS code so I could assist you further? thanks!

Here is code

/*********************
Page: Portfolio
*********************/

#gallery {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  list-style: none;
}

#gallery li {
  float: left;
  width: 45%;
  margin: 2.5%;
  background-color: #f5f5f5;
  color: #bdc3c7;
}

good can you do the same with the html? thanks!

<section>
        <ul id="gallery">
          <li>
            <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg">
              <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
              <P>Experimentation with color and texture.</P>
            </a>
          </li>
          <li>
            <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg">
              <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
              <P>Playing with blending modes in photoshop.</P>

Don't know what I did but problem is fixed.

Hi Steve,

You seem to have only posted part of your html, the head section is especially important to see if you have linked correctly.

Could you post the html again please.

Thanks

I got it to work, thanks! I was missing a " at the end a line.
