1,701 Pointsalistapart has great content but perhaps not the friendliest for beginners. I'd highly recommend The Big Web Show (http://5by5.tv/bigwebshow) for easy listening and great guests. Otherwise, I seem to spend quite a lot of time on SmashingMagazine at the moment,

5,885 PointsI should have mentioned I've been building websites (off and on) since before Firefox and Chrome existed. I vividly remember the browser wars and how awesome it was when I built my first table-less layout.
But technology changes so rapidly that it's been hard to keep up, hence the reason for the initial post.
CSS Tricks has been a great resource as well as some of the others mentioned. I'm fairly new to Codepen though.
I came across this slideshow by Chris Coyier that I found interesting. https://speakerdeck.com/chriscoyier/how-to-stay-up-to-date-on-web-technology
Thanks for everyone's input!
