Virtualbox Extension is not downloading properly.

Hi I have downloaded virtualbox manager with no problems. But I am trying to download the extension pack but it is not working. It says I need to select a program to open it. So i selected the virtualbox manager and it came up with the error (Parameter parsing error)

What can be the problem?

Assuming that you didn't alter the file extension, it should open automatically with VirtualBox without having to select it from the list. Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling VirtualBox? Also, try dropping the extension file into the VirtualBox Manager window and see if that helps.
