Android Creating and Running a Virtual Device

Virtual Device Just displays the word Android. It won't do anything else.

Followed all the steps exactly but nothing.

The default android emulator is VERY VERY SLOW. Especially if the computer/laptop it is running on is itself not very powerful.

So when you see android that means it is at the beginning of the loading, it will just take a little bit of time for the entire thing to load.

My advice is: 1) if you have a real android device, run your programs on that instead 2) try Genymotion (a faster android emulator) 3) get a more powerful (more memory, faster processor) computer

I agree with 'lambda' - the Android emulator takes forever to load at times.
