Virtual box - Ubuntu - Mysql server issue. How to change password?

Hey Everyone!
I've bought a new PC so I needed to set up my development build. When I tried to set up LAMP on Virutal Box Ubuntu 18.04, the Mysql code ran (sudo apt-get install mysql-server) but it did not ask for a new password. After it finished I ran a test but my usual password was incorrect... I've tried to reconfigure it, I also tried to delete it completely and reinstall but once again it didn't required a new password.
I cannot work until it's done. Any help is appreciated! Is there a waz I can check the recent pw?

Hi there! MySQL uses an empty string as the default root password. Once you've logged in that way, you can then set a new password. Hope this helps! :sparkles:
