1,340 PointsView cannot be converted to button
I am trying to attach my form element to a variable. I get the following error: ./MainActivity.java:15: error: incompatible types: View cannot be converted to Button
Well, if I understand the error the right way, this would mean, that button1 is not a button! But I can't configure button1, because I don't have in the exercise the .xml file. So, where is the problem? What am I doing wrong? Thank you for any ideas!
