This is how videos on the site show up when I view them full screen in google chrome on my macbook. Can this be looked into by the developers?

Treehouse StaffHey James!
We tested the full screen mode using Chrome, and it fills up the whole screen as expected on our end. Can you please check to see that your browser is up to date, or trying through an Incognito Mode window to disable any plugins, to see if that helps?

Treehouse StaffHi James,
I'm using a MacBook Laptop and it appears to be working ok on my end. I may suggest to make sure your browser and OS are up to date. It could be in relation to the other laptop or device you're using, it's hard to say!

11,560 PointsMy browser and OS are up-to-date. Google Chrome Version 67.0.3396.99 and MacOS High Sierra 10.13.5.
Besides, I ruled out the possibility that it was a device specific issue because when I used Chrome Developer Tools to imitate a laptop-sized screen on my desktop (where videos display fine), the issue showed up again.
My device has a 13.3" screen and a resolution of 2560 x 1600. Watching videos on my macbook when I am not able to use my desktop plays a big part in making this site useful to me.
Thanks for your continued support.

Treehouse StaffJames Stott Thank you for those additional details. It likely is due to the resolution you're using, but we've created a ticket for our developers to look into this further as well, to see if we can make that work. Please let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Best, Kara

11,560 PointsI think the issue relates to devices which are small laptop-sized. You can reproduce the issue by using chrome developer tools: https://imgur.com/a/ZBDLemQ (videos display fine in full screen on my main computer).
